Are Columns in Paxata Datasets Case Sensitive?

It seems that Paxata columns are case sensitive.
If we load a file with lowercase column names then later on load a similar file with uppercase column names, the project treats the original lowercase columns as being removed but displays the new uppercase columns as totally new columns.

Is there a configuration settings that could be setup to make column names case insensitive?
