The top portion of the Data Library contains a number of filters, which can be used to view specific files within the Data Library. The different filters are as follows:
Creation Time - This allows the user to display datasets that were created (uploaded/published) within either the last 7 days, or the last 30 days. If either option is selected, clicking the filter again will remove it and display all files in the Data Library, regardless of creation time.
Completed? - This allows the user to display datasets that have either been completed being imported into the Data Library (yes) or have not completed and are still in the process of being imported (no). If either is selected, clicking the filter again will remove the filter and display all files in the Data Library, regardless of whether they have completed importing or not.
Owner - This allows the user to display only those files uploaded by themselves (mine).
Tags - In the Data Library itself, each imported dataset has a freetext “Tags” field in which the user can type tags related to the file. These tags act as metadata that can then be filtered on using the “Tags” filter. Upon clicking into the “Tags” filter, a list of available tags that can be filtered on will display. To remove the filter, simply delete the text out of the field.
Source - This allows the user to display datafiles based on the source they were imported from; either local, remote file (HDFS), remote database, or AnswerSet (published from a project in Paxata). To remove the filter, simply click the currently selected source.
